And... ANOTHER Cabinet Door

I'll make this a quick post.  I used the third cabinet door to make a new plaque for the wall.  This time I made one in preparation for Easter.  Our church is about to begin a church-wide devotional book for Lent, so it seemed appropriate.

First, I painted it.... Heirloom White.

Then I used Mod Podge to decoupage a cute printed paper onto just the raised center section (this paper cost 14 cents last week!)

Then I used my Cricut to cut out a cute phrase (one of our favorite worship songs).  I used a color that I already owned (an avocado-ish color)... had I owned brown or offwhite, I probably would've chosen that.  It's hard to tell in the photo, but the green actually is in the print of the paper, too.  Those little swooshes are green.

  1. This is beautiful. I would pay you to make one of these for me. I can't find any restore type places here yet. Think about it?

  2. You should do a tutorial or how-to on Mod Podge for beginners. I have always wanted to try it but I'm nervous....
